HOW SCHOOLBER WORKS

1. WHAT IS SCHOOLBER AND WHAT TYPE OF SERVICES DOES SCHOOLBER PROVIDE? ~ Schoolber is a student transportation service and software platform that helps schools in Singapore improve their transportation operations and customer experience. Our mission is to modernize student transportation while keeping it safe, sustainable, and accessible to the communities we serve. Schoolber provides a full transportation model with right-size vehicles that fit the needs of students. We support schools with transportation services, including special education transportation, home-to-school transportation, holiday camps, buspooling, carpooling or, field trips, and private charter services. The Schoolber technology platform offers some key advantages over traditional student transportation services, including: - Optimizing and managing route networks - Real-time tracking of daily rides to and from school by parents and schools, including pickup and dropoff times, ETAs, notifications etc. - Providing real-time daily route and student information to drivers

2. WHERE IS SCHOOLBER AVAILABLE? ~ Schoolber is currently available only in Singapore We are always open to working with partners and schools in different countries.

3. WHY SCHOOL USES SCHOOLBER? ~ Our service caters to the school’s needs, offering a customized solution for each implementation. Schoolber reduces costs for schools by deploying the best type of vehicle for each route, including buses, cars, and vans. This multi-vehicle approach helps solve current industry-wide challenges such as scheduling, unpredictability, and vehicle underutilization, while also reducing student commute times. ​Schoolber’s integrated technology platform provides real-time visibility into operations for schools as well as ride transparency for parents. Details such as where a student’s rides are and whether and when they have been picked up and dropped off are tracked in real-time.

4. HOW CAN I REQUEST SCHOOLBER FOR MY SCHOOL? ~ We would love to provide transportation to additional schools. Please encourage your schools to get in touch via email customerservice@schoolber.com.sg.

5. IS SCHOOLBER A RIDESHARE SERVICE? ~ No. Schoolber is not a rideshare service, nor does it offer its service directly to consumers. Only schools that partner with Schoolber can request and schedule Schoolber rides. Carpool and buspool are services opened to consumers, this services are based on parents offering their car for a rideshare as well as enough aggregated demand for buspooling.

SCHOOLBER APP

1. WHAT IS THE SCHOOLBER APP FOR PARENTS? ~ The Schoolber app for parents is a free mobile app that allows parents/guardians to: - View their child’s upcoming rides - Track their child’s rides in real-time and receive alerts when the bus or vehicle is arriving - Get notified when their child gets on and off the bus - Mark attendance for the child’s same-day and upcoming rides - View driver and vehicle information for their child’s ride - And so much more!

2. HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE SCHOOLBER APP? ~ You can download the Schoolber PWA app using the link -> https://sms.schoolber.com.sg/. Note that you can log in and use the app only if it has been enabled in your school.

RIDING WITH SCHOOLBER

1. WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR SCHOOLBER SUPPORT? ~ Schoolber support is available Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm SG Time (GMT +8), excluding Singapore Public Holidays. You can reach us in several ways: - By phone: call +65-9694-4588 - By email: customerservice@schoolber.com.sg - By chat: via the Schoolber app NOTE: Only individuals associated with your student’s account will be given access to their information, so please be prepared to confirm your account email or phone number.

CARPOOLING ETHICS

​Schoolber carpoolers are advise to follow these rules of make your carpooling an enjoyable experience. - You may agree to an initial trial period so both parties can get used to the process and if not comfortable you can anytime ask for change. - Be respectful to each other - Ride with more than one other individual. This makes the experience safer and enhances all aspects of the program. - Make your pick-up / drop-off point a comfortable and safe location. (You may desire to make this arrangement permanent). - Be frank about your preferences. Smoker / Non-smoker, Hygienic and any such preferences. - Late coming and no-show is discouraged in Carpooling. Please make sure that you are there on time. - In the event that carpooling cannot happen for certain reason, please communicate with the parents to seek understanding and agree on an alternative arrangements

CARPOOL RIDERS

1. HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR SCHOOLBER CARPOOL? ~ You can download the Schoolber App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After you have downloaded, create your profile and your dependents profile. After which you will be able to create a trip request for your child.

2. HOW DOES IT WORK FOR THE RIDERS? ~ Submit a ride request based on your pickup and destination locations. Schoolber app will automatically matched the best carpool partner based on your commute route.

3. IS BOOSTER SEATS REQUIRED FOR YOUNGER KIDS? ~ In our registration, we take note of the height of the child. If they are below 1.35m, based on SPF regulations, the child will require booster seats or approved adjustable seat belts. The parents of the child are encouraged to procure Mifold Garb-n-Go Car Booster Seatiin order to ensure that their child is safely strap in before the trip begins. Mifold meets the European Union Regulatory standard of ECE R44/04 and ECE R129. It is small, foldable and compact for the child to bring along when carpooling.

4. WHAT ABOUT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY OR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS? ~ Do indicate your request under remarks when filling in your registration. Schoolber will try to match the driver that has the ability to cater to your request.

5. WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF USING SCHOOLBER? ~ Well Rested: Your child does not need to wake up very early to catch the school bus. They get to catch another 10-30 mins of sleep. - Spend Less Time On The Road: With no more than 4 students per car, the number of detours and stops significantly reduce - Affordable: For almost the same price as normal school bus, Schoolber is affordable and convenient. - Savings: You stop paying in school holiday months (Jun, Nov & Dec) where your child does not use the transport service. Schoolber only charge for active school days when your child needs carpooling. - Friendly carpool buddies: Students taking a ride from the trusted community of parent drivers are a pleasant way to start and end the school day for your child and you. - Environmentally conscious: Schoolber advocates and supports a greener way to get to school, we encourage the parents and their child to take up carpooling to reduce the carbon footprint

6. WHAT HAPPENS IF A DRIVER DOES NOT TURN UP AS SCHEDULED? ~ Schoolber drivers are profiled based on their commitment. Priority is given to parent driver with their child in the same school or nearby schools. This highly reduced the chance of drivers not turning up as scheduled. We encourage the parent riders and parent drivers to communicate with each other timely so as to avoid disruption to the children. In the event that there is no show from the driver, the parent are advise to arrange for alternative transport for your child.

CARPOOL DRIVERS

1. HOW DO I REGISTER AS A DRIVER WITH SCHOOLBER? ~ You can download the Schoolber App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After you have downloaded, create your profile and your dependents profile. After which you will be able to create a trip offer.

2. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A SCHOOLBER CARPOOL DRIVER? ~ After successful registration, drivers are required to provide relevant documents like drivers license, driving records, valid motor insurance, child’s school information, Traffic Police DIPS & SPENT Records to complete the driver profiling and screening before they can be accept carpool request.

3. HOW DOES IT WORK FOR THE DRIVERS? ~ Submit a ride offer based on your set off location and destination. Schoolber app will automatically map based on your commute route for suitable riders.

4. CAN I MAKE MONEY WITH SCHOOLBER CARPOOLING? ~ Under Road Traffic Act (Chapter 276) Road Traffic (Car Pools) (Exemption) Order 2015, a car owner can now accept payment from passengers who carpool. It is however illegal for drivers to solicit for passengers on the road, in public spaces or parking lots. Destinations of passengers must be clarified before the journey and drivers cannot offer more than two rides per day. Carpooling focuses on covering costs, not generating an income. making it a great way for drivers to earn a bit of petrol money and cover wear and tear on their vehicle.

5. DO I NEED SETUP A COMPANY AND BUY COMMERCIAL INSURANCE? ~ No. Under Singapore's carpooling regulations, carpool drivers can only accept up to two rides a day. Schoolber drivers are not required to take up commercial insurance, and are covered by their personal motor insurance.

6. CAN I DRIVER MORE THAN TWO RIDES A DAY? ~ You will need to register a company with ACRA, convert your vehicle and get a commercial insurance license. Our customer service will link you up with our partners to get all the necessary documents completed.

PRICING FOR CARPOOL

1. HOW IS IT PRICED? ~ Schoolber is a carpool platform and we charge a non-refundable calendaring fee. This calendaring fee allows the user to provide their schedule with the app for matching. There are no refund and pro-rate on the fee

2. HOW IS THE RIDE CHARGED? ~ Once a match is made, only paid users will get access the other parties contact. Schoolber will provide an estimated transport fee based on the distance. The estimated transport fee is based on per seat. The actual transport fees can still be discussed and agreed upon by both parents.

3. HOW DO I MAKE MY PAYMENT? ~ Calendaring via Schoolber payment in-app Transport Fee - Advance payment to Schoolber. Schoolber will credit the driver daily after each trip
